The Ritual of Care
Every bag is crafted with care, by hand, using slow, time-honoured techniques. We work with a thoughtfully chosen mix of materials; from intricate beadwork to sculptural metals — each selected for its unique form and texture. As every piece is handmade, subtle variations are to be expected; we believe these differences add to its character and charm. With mindful care, your bag will age beautifully.

BEADED HANDBAGS
Our beaded bags are hand-embroidered using glass beads and fine fibres. They are wearable pieces of art, designed to be cherished.
To care for your beaded bag:
- Gently clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or chemicals, as these may damage the beading or fabric.
- Avoid abrasive surfaces. Beads can scratch or lose their colour if rubbed against rough textures.
- Keep away from moisture and humidity. Exposure can weaken threads and affect the integrity of the materials.
- Avoid contact with harsh chemicals and direct sunlight. Perfume, lotions, and UV exposure can fade or deteriorate the detailing over time.
Store with care. Place your bag in its dust bag. Store flat or hang gently. Avoid folding or stacking.
Normal wear may occur. Given the delicate nature of the fibres, gentle fraying or bead movement may happen over time—it’s part of your bag’s natural evolution.

METAL HANDBAGS
Our metal bags are sculptural pieces, crafted to hold both form and function. Their handcrafted nature deserves thoughtful handling.
To care for your metal bag:
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, gently buff with a jewellery cloth to maintain shine.
- Avoid abrasive products. While durable, metal can scratch, mark or lose its shine if rubbed against rough textures.
- Avoid water and humidity. Exposure can lead to oxidation or discolouration. Keep away from lotions, perfumes, and chemicals. These can alter the finish and contribute to patina over time.
- Store mindfully. Place in your dust bag, separate from other items to prevent scratches or dents.
- Handle with care but expect that some patina will occur. We think this is beautiful and creates markings of your story and the places you’ve carried your piece with you.
